| The basketball WIPP program is the first in a series of sport-specific training regimens for conditioning and injury prevention. The basketball program is designed for in-season training and can be modified for sport-specific rehabilitation following an ankle injury.

| The Basketball WIPP program incorporates a dynamic warm-up, agility drills, strength training, jump training, and a stretching program. The program should be integrated with an interval cardiovascular work-out. The program has been designed to teach athletes to preposition the body safely when accelerating (jumping) or decelerating (landing). It provides all the essentials: coordination, strength, and endurance.
