Strulowitz & Gargiulo Physical Therapy (S&G PT) is pleased to announce the opening of their new office in Bayonne. Located conveniently at 115 West 42nd St. (corner of Ave. B, across the street from Bayonne Park), the new facility marks the first time S&G PT will be offering continual physical therapy services at an additional location outside their main hub in Jersey City.
For 24 years S&G PT has served the community from their office at 1 Nardone Place, where Carl Gargiulo, the late Dan Strulowitz and their associates have provided quality physical therapy for residents of Hudson County and elsewhere. The practice dates back to the 1970’s. When Carl initially joined Dan, they operated out of a small three-room office at The Medical Arts Building on Clinton Place in Jersey City. The practice expanded to its present location in the Journal Square area. The Bayonne location signifies another major step in what has become a gradual expansion of the practice. The Bayonne office will be staffed by long time associates Jimmy Voorhees PT, DPT and Ann Valenti, PT.
S&G PT’s Bayonne office will be fully capable of treating all patients with the same types of treatment available at the Jersey City locale, only with a shorter commute for those living in Bayonne or nearby. The therapists will continue to see patients with a variety of conditions, including sports and work-related injuries, neurological injuries, arthritis and back pain, to name a few. The Bayonne and Jersey City offices will also feature new community-based programs such as an Arthritis Foundation approved Tai Chi class, yoga, fitness walking and golf rehab. These wellness programs will enhance Strulowitz & Gargiulo’s ability to better serve those in the area with specific interests and needs.
